Help Fund Bboy City 26 – September 26, 2020 Established over 20 years ago in Austin. Bboy City is the longest running Bboy/Bgirl event in the state of Texas. It has served as a platform for international recognized Bboys, Bgirls and dancers from around the world. The event has been featured in the award-winning documentary Inside the Circle, on MTV, Netflix and has inspired other events throughout Texas and internationally. Over the last two decades Bboy City has hired hundreds of artist; providing flights, lodging, per diem, pay and cash prizes to dancers, Bboys, Bgirls, emcees, deejays, graffiti artist and more. Has facilitated performances, workshops and classes to youth in community centers, schools, libraries and more. With that said, we are asking for the community’s support to help fund this years Bboy City. Due to the Covid-19 global epidemic, funding for Bboy City has been drastically cut. Loss of sponsors and funding has placed tremendous pressure on the team. We are looking to raise funds to help offset the cost and help pay our deejays, hosts, judges and production crew. We will not be selling tickets nor changing at the door this year, the event is 100% free, however we will still be providing over $2,000 in prize money.  1 vs 1 Youth Battles 1 vs 1 All Style Battles 1 vs 1 Bboy Battles Crew vs Crew Battles Along with our partners, Hope 4 Hip Hop and Bboy City is monitoring Covid-19 and will comply with both local and state protocols. Bboy City 26 will be a closed event. All staff, partners and event participants will be required to wear mask, practice social distancing, complete a temperature check and a Covid-19 questionnaire administered by a public health safety officer (EMT) prior to their participation at Bboy City 26. The event will operate on a strict schedule to ensure we follow venue capacity regulations. The event will be livestreamed and will have original and classic content for viewers to safely enjoy from home.
